Ice hockey

Today Hayden got to take his stick and puck onto the ice for the first time. His skating lessons are going great and he no longer needs a orange cone. Although, weening him from it was a little difficult (when he would fall with out it he would bang his head against the ice in frustration! and yell at his teacher) But I have been taking him skating Tuesday afternoons in addition to his lessons and I think the extra ice time really helps. Hayden spent a lot of his time today showing off for some young ladies who where skating as well. He would skate over to them and then try to hit the puck really hard and look to them for approval. Needless to say they were very impressed.
